I have been driving past this place for a year on my way to work and I finally stoped to eat. I could not recommend it enough. This place has the best Thai food I've had in a long time. We had about 4 dishes but I only got pictures of 2 because we couldn't wait to dig in.

This is not an area I ever go to, but I am so glad to have stumbled upon this place when I did. Almost everything ordered was BEYOND delicious. The crispy pork belly with green beans were full of flavor with the texture fried to perfection. Some parts were crispy, others melting in your mouth. Lao style papaya salad was refreshing and the perfect umami flavor. The plating with the morter was also too cute! Pad See Ew was a very interesting dish because it had all the amazing sweet and salty flavors of the traditional dish, but they opted for a different type of noodle that's super thin, yet perfectly textured and surprisingly not at all mushy and overcooked (so easy to do with such thin noodles!). I was not disappointed. It definitely works! The most underwhelming order especially when being compared to the rest was the beef noodle soup or their take on boat noodle. It still has flavor, but lacks anything that would make it a stand out dish and special. The service was questionable. The waitresses were attentive enough where our water was always refilled at the right time. But they did make some odd and unprofessional decisions during our dine in experience...for one thing, we were seated five minutes in and have looked through the menu getting ready to order when we were asked to move to another table because they needed to accommodate another party. We weren't given the condiments provided at a lot of Thai restaurants, so we borrowed one from an empty table nearby. Before getting to use it for our dish, the waitress took the whole tray away without asking if it was okay. They were also reluctant to give me the condiments I asked for after this happened. It was all a bit awkward. Overall, Siam Patio is not an elegant place with top tier service by any means. But if you're looking for great Thai food to try, I would recommend this place. Can't wait to come back and check on consistency.

Food was delicious, came out quick, but not super quick, it just right oh and I actually got my appetizer before the main dishes, some places always bring everything at once or weird order. The place is small and intimate (cozy?), I've been here before during weekend service and it gets quite loud, this time it was kind of a slow night, it was my family of 3 and maybe 2 other tables of 3s and 2s, so we got here at a good time for a nice and quiet dinner! Portions are kind of on the smaller side, so this why I'm deducting a star, I guess like most places the price has gone up considerably, and portions shrink lol, again it's not a deal breaker but just be aware that you get great food but not a lot of it, the presentation is also very nice, we had the shrimp pad Thai and the yellow curry with steamed rice, we ate it and had no leftovers, which I recall I used to always have a little bit of everything left, maybe we were very hungry I'll be back for sure, never had a bad meal at this establishment, thanks!
